The source of light

Day 28 (although it hasn’t been daily recently, but a bit more irregular) responding to the Daily post with the theme: the source of light http://dailypost.wordpress.com/2013/11/29/photo-challenge-lights/

This is a photo of the bright light spreading over a garden in a private house, in Devon. It was December so quite cold and I was doing a ‘shooting session’ with my son outside this house we were visiting with Roger’s parents. There was an atmosphere of light on the grass, in the field beyond the garden and a feeling of ‘this is a beautiful moment’ that I needed to capture.

Shooting into the light is not obvious, for the fact that the image can be very white and overexposed. But sometimes it is nice to be inundated by light to remember the source it is coming from.

Looking forward to checking other bloggers versions of the theme.
