Day 5 – Trees with red and yellow leaves, Battersea Park, London

Image

This was taken at Battersea park, with members of our Clapham Photo Club, a great place to go for a stroll in South West London. This park is at its most beautiful in the spring with all the flowers and trees blooming and in the autumn with the lovely bright colours.

I learned that leaves turn red or yellow in the Autumn because they have sugar in them, interesting fact!

In this image I like the strong colours, the light as the sun comes out of the clouds and a patch of blue sky making an appearance.

Autumn is all over us. Enjoy!
